I know, we hear all the time to give up bread and other bad-for-you carbs. But, my gosh, I can’t seem to give up my cravings.
Instead of eating regular breads with wheat and other grains, I’ve decided to make the most delicious breads (as well as muffins and cookies).
My bread is not the typical bread you see in the grocery stores. It is not loaded with high fructose corn syrup and sugar. It’s not made with GMO wheat or wheat gluten.
I make my own bread WITHOUT wheat, grain or sugar. Typically almond flour is used as the base. Along with coconut oil, sea salt, baking soda, pure maple syrup or honey and a few other ingredients depending on what bread I’m making.
Each loaf is loaded with protein and good fats and very low in sugar.
It takes about 5 minutes to prepare the ingredients and 20-30 minutes to bake. EASY peasy and so delicious.
Try preparing on the weekends if you work throughout the week, or whichever day is best for your schedule.
You can always freeze your loaves for future convenience.
